We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our gym located in Dorado and expand our sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, meeting and exceeding sales targets, managing and motivating the club's sales team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. This role requires a strategic leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills, as well as a passion for fitness and wellness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development and Implementation of Sales Strategies:

    • Develop comprehensive and effective sales plans and strategies to achieve membership goals and additional services (personal training, etc.).
    • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective promotional campaigns and sales materials.
    • Establish and monitor key sales performance metrics (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Sales Team Management and Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, motivate and manage your sales teams.
    • Set individual and team sales goals and ensure they are met.
    • Hold regular meetings with salespeople to review performance, provide feedback, and offer support.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.
    • Identify the training and development needs of team members and coordinate necessary activities.
  • Reaching and Exceeding Sales Targets:

    • Closely monitor sales performance and take corrective action when necessary.
    • Implement effective sales techniques for the acquisition of new members and the retention of existing ones.
    • Ensure that the sales team provides exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
    • Manage and resolve any sales-related issues or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Analysis and Reporting:

    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor initiatives.
    • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
    • Submit reports and recommendations to management on sales performance and future strategies.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with your District Manager, marketing department, and other areas to ensure alignment of efforts and achievement of overall company goals.
    • Effectively communicate sales initiatives and results to other departments.
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the fitness, service, or membership sales industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading successful sales teams.
  • Solid knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Proficiency in customer management software (CRM) and other sales tools.
  • Passion for fitness and wellness, and understanding of the benefits of physical activity.
Desired Skills:

  • Experience in the fitness industry or gyms.
  • Knowledge of the fitness market in Puerto Rico (preferred).
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, problem-oriented mindset
